LPDC Resources and Links

Template Professional Development Spreadsheet
Employees may choose to utilize this resource to document professional development activity for licensure renewal and keep a running record of professional development hours earned over the course of a licensure cycle.  Employees must also present documentation of earned professional development activities (certificates, transcripts, etc.) when renewing a license through the LPDC (Please click on the document link, save a copy to your drive, then rename it for your personal use).

The Southern Ohio ESC Local Professional Development Committee took steps to approve online professional development opportunities listed below and PublicSchoolWorks modules in order to help educators in meeting the requirements for license renewal. If you know of other opportunities which could be approved and shared with our organization, please contact a member of the LPDC.

Ohio Leadership Advisory Council (OLAC)
Credit will be granted for webinar completion. Participants may receive ONE (1) hour of credit by viewing a webinar and downloading a certificate of completion. The certificate of completion requires that the user complete a discussion question, which becomes a part of the certificate of completion.

edWeb.net
provides a Certificate as evidence of participation when you attend a live or view an archived webinar recording. Join edWeb.net and you can view your activity on your member homepage and download your CE certificates. If you watch a recorded webinar you’ll need to take a CE quiz to earn your CE certificate.

Ohio Center for Autism and Low-Incidence (OCALI): Autism Certification Center
OCALI offers four certificates through their Autism Certification Center ranging from 1.5-10.5 hours per course. Create an account, complete the course, take the assessment, and then you will receive your certificate. Some courses also count toward continuing education with the following organizations: Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association (OCCRRA), Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board, and Office of Mandatory Continuing Education.
