The Southern Ohio ESC Local Professional Development Committee took steps to approve online professional development opportunities listed below and PublicSchoolWorks modules in order to help educators in meeting the requirements for license renewal. If you know of other opportunities which could be approved and shared with our organization, please contact a member of the LPDC.
Ohio Leadership Advisory Council (OLAC)Credit will be granted for webinar completion. Participants may receive ONE (1) hour of credit by
viewing a webinar and downloading a certificate of completion. The certificate of completion requires that the user complete a discussion question, which becomes a part of the certificate of completion.
edWeb.netprovides a Certificate as evidence of participation when you attend a live or view an archived webinar recording.
Join edWeb.net and you can view your activity on your member homepage and download your CE certificates. If you watch a recorded webinar you’ll need to take a CE quiz to earn your CE certificate.
Ohio Center for Autism and Low-Incidence (OCALI): Autism Certification CenterOCALI offers four certificates through their Autism Certification Center ranging from 1.5-10.5 hours per course. Create an account, complete the course, take the assessment, and then you will receive your certificate. Some courses also count toward continuing education with the following organizations: Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association (OCCRRA), Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board, and Office of Mandatory Continuing Education.
