Southern Ohio Educational Service Center Announces 2025 Governing Board Reorganization and Meeting Schedule
The Southern Ohio Educational Service Center (SOESC) Governing Board held its annual
organizational meeting on January 14, 2025, at the SOESC Wilmington office. The organizational
meeting reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting the educational needs of its member
districts and outlined priorities for the year ahead.
The board elected Mr. Roger West as president for 2025, succeeding Dr. Norma Kirby, who provided
exemplary leadership during her term. Mr. West brings 27 years of experience and dedication to the
board to advance the organization’s mission.
Mrs. Linda Stepp was elected vice president for 2025. Mrs. Ruth Ann Ruth will serve as the board’s
legislative liaison in 2025, ensuring the organization stays informed and engaged in educational and
legislative matters.
